Social Media Management Tools I Use Every Day

Social media management tools can help you create better content and save time. These are the ones I use every day to create content, organize my media, and get more results from my social media. By incorporating these social media management tools into your planning and designing, you can simplify the content creation process!

Social Media Management Tools for Design

Canva

This is my all time favorite social media management tool. While I design most of my social media graphics using Canva on my desktop, the app is great when you need to design something quickly and post it when you only have your phone. The app has templates that make it super easy to create on the road, especially if you have your brand kit set up.  It even has free stock photos right in the app to use!

The scheduler can be useful too. I try to schedule most platforms natively but I do schedule my Pinterest Pins through Canva regularly and it’s a huge time saver!

These are just the basic features but the new Magic Studio launched this year makes Canva a must have! Magic design, edit, and write will take your designs to the next level and even help you write captions with AI.

Social Media Management Tools for Organization

Meta Business Suite

I use the desktop version to schedule all my Facebook and Instagram posts. It allows you to cross post on each platform (even Facebook Groups) and even lets you tweak each individual post. Unlike third-party schedulers, I hardly ever have issues with things not posting. You can schedule posts, reels, and stories in Meta Business Suite. It also gives you detailed analytics and best times to post. Overall this is my favorite way to schedule posts within Meta.

Google

If you don’t use Google as a social media management tool to organize your media assets then start now! I make most of my social media graphics ahead of time and save them by date in my drive. Then just download on your phone and post or batch schedule them! It also great to keep a content calendar in Google Sheets so you can see what you plan to post from anywhere and I love Google Docs to store my post copy ideas. I also use folders in Google Drive to share videos/photos for my clients so they can dump their media from their phones to the drive and then I can use it

Linktree

I always recommend using a landing page on your website (hello let’s get that SEO!) as your social media bio link but I know many newer business owners may not know how to build that or may not even have a website yet. If that is the case, Linktree is a great alternative. It gives you a link to use on social media as a landing page with all your lead magnets, website, and/or other social media links. This can be very valuable to move your audience through your value ladder.

Social Media Management Tools for Content Ideas

Answer Socrates

Answer Socrates is a tool that generates content ideas and outlines based on user-provided prompts and questions. You can give Answer Socrates a topic or question related to your industry, niche, or target audience. It will generate a list of content ideas, which you can use as inspiration for your social media posts! It’s a great tool when you are stuck on what to create for content but just remember to customize and tailor the generated content to your brand’s voice, style, and the specific social media platform you’re using.

ChatGDP

Know what you want to talk about in your next social media post but don’t know how to say it? Or maybe you need ideas on how to elaborate on it? ChatGDP is perfect to get you started. Ask it a question, ask for a list, ask it to write you a hook for a subject, or ask for 3 social media post ideas on a certain subject, there are so many ways it can get you out of writer’s block and make writing your social media captions so much easier. I use ChatGCP weekly now and don’t know how I did it before. As with anything, don’t just copy and paste – but using it for ideas and inspiration saves so much time.

Social Media Management Tools for Communications

Flodesk

Flodesk is an email marketing platform designed to help businesses create and send beautiful email campaigns. While it’s not a social media management tool per se, you can use Flodesk in conjunction with your social media strategy to enhance your online presence and engage with your audience. You can create landing pages for your lead magnets so your social media audience can sign up and download. This helps build your email list with your engaged social media followers. Nurturing these followers with emails can be a great way to turn a follower into a client!

Voxer

Again this one may not be seen as much as a social media management tool but it’s essential for communication between my clients and me. Voxer is a voice messaging app that allows for real-time voice and text communication. You can also send photos, videos, and links. It works a lot like Messenger but I like that it’s a separate app that I only connect with my clients on. It makes it easier to separate those communications and make sure I never miss them.

ManyChat

I just started using ManyChat about a month ago. I connected it to my Instagram and use it to DM links to my audience when they comment certain words on my posts. It’s a better way to get your audience to download your lead magnets than saying “link in bio”. It’s easier for them and it gets you chatting in your DMs. It’s a win-win! I know there’s more you can do with it too and I’ll keep you posted as I experiment more!

Social media management tools simplify and streamline the entire social media process. These tools make it easier to plan, schedule, analyze, and engage with your audience. By using a social media management tool, you can save time, increase productivity, improve the effectiveness of your social media strategy, and maintain a strong and consistent online presence across different platforms. These tools are particularly valuable for businesses and individuals who need to manage multiple social media accounts and engage with their audience effectively. Are you going to try any of these tools? Are there others you love? Let me know in the comments!
